Koulen Restaurant Siem Reap Reviews
Huge buffet from local to international food Jan 29, 2017
It would be a shame if one miss this restaurant while in Siem Reap. Is 12 dollars per person to dine, the extensive buffet is well worth the price and plus you see a Cambodian traditional dance show
Buffet starts at 6:30 pm you have local and international food and so much more
There are two Koulen restaurant in Siem Reap- one outside the center and in the center. The location of this restaurant is opposite to Lucky Shopping Mall in the center of Siem Reap.
Reservation in advance is recommended! you don't have to pay in advance, pay during dinner. Credit card or cash both are acceptable as payment
The price for buffet is only for food, drinks is not included. Drinks are quite expensive- for a glass of coke cost 2 dollar, a beer is 4 dollar. You dine in a huge room. Your table will be reserved with your named. During reservation they'll asked you where you want to sit. You can choose a spot, we choose close to the buffet table.
Just remember your table- when you came later, go straight to the table and check your name in it. A waitress/waiter will come soon to take order on drinks
The buffet is huge, each dish is named, so you know at least what food you are taken
I check around first before I start. There is a huge buffet from local Cambodian to international food, there is also vegetarian
The dance show start at 8pm, but you can still go on the buffet. This restaurant maybe not so cheap compared to other restaurant in Siem Reap, but this really worth the money

Nice Meal & Good Floor Show Aug 31, 2013
A good place for first time tourists to immerse themselves in local foods and music. The place is done buffet style with plenty of Khmer and Vietnamese specialties. Several locations serve special items such as a noodle station where you select the type of noodle and ingredients, barbequed meats on a stick, and vegetables deep fried in a special tempura style. Lots of items to choose from and a decent floor show. Typical music and dance routines from Cambodia are presented on a stage in front of the dining area. Traditional folk dances from the farmlands as well as elegant dances from the Cambodian court. All live music performed by well trained troop. Only one word of advice, don’t come late or you will be on longer lines and sometimes the best specialty items are gone.
