Konoba Varoš

Konoba Varoš is my favourite place to eat in Split. I'm not sure how foreigners will respond to it, because I mostly order Dalmatian cuisine dishes such as "pašticada", but I can tell you that the fresh fish they serve is great! The prices are ok, but you get a lot for it. For example, two persons can easily order 1 portion of "pašticada", and it costs 75kn, while just a week before I ordered the same dish in Šibenik for 100kn, and the portion was tiny tiny!

I don't know much about wines and nice drinks in general, so I can't make comments on that.

The atmosphere is relaxing, best suited for dinner. Oh and another big plus: they serve olive oil!
