Komotini or Komotene (Greek: Κομοτηνή; Turkish: Gümülcine), is a city in north-eastern Greece. It is the capital of the periphery of Eastern Macedonia and Thrace and the Rhodope Prefecture. It is also the administrative center of the Rhodope-Evros super-prefecture. The city is home to the Democritus University of Thrace, founded in 1973. Komotini is home to a sizeable Turkish minority, which constitutes 50% of the city's population

hii dear TB'si just wanted to show u bit from the seaside place we have in my area and i use to spend the weekend there in mom's seaside cottage.Its not as like the touristic places(even there are some beach bars 2 kilometeres away from this Mesi beach and its really crowded there with dance music …

i just wanted to show some pictures from my area(there are mountain pictures,soon gonna come seaside ones also),Komotini.Its replaced in north Greece and not so touristic place as like the south places in Greece ,but still has its beauty and worths to visit as it has its own unique multicultural characteristic and the combination of being close to seaside and to mountains..so everybody is welcome:-)
