General Cologne nightlife tips Jul 10, 2013
Cologne is one of the best cities in Europe.

With Plenty to see and plenty to do, you can spend ages looking for something worthwhile in the evenings.

The best thing about cologne is that it is the perfect size for getting around. Not too big to make your journey too strenuous, however not too small that it's limited.

Club Bahnhoff Ehfurt is a great place to go and start an evening, a lot of relatively young people, a few travelers, good music (genre varies on the night but still dependable) and affordable drinks. If you're lucky there may even be a concert in there which is always good.

Club Underground is good too, the crown tends to be predominantly young (18-28 perhaps?) but there are a three rooms to choose from and you can guarantee at least one will be to your taste.

There are numerous other clubs, and decent advertising for each around town, but if all else fails there's always Pasha. It's probably best to find a local to explain Pasha, it's a good conversation starter! ;)

4 hours of eating. All the coffee you want. Great selection of hot and cold breakfast foods from 10 am to 12, then the dinner choices come out and after that the desserts. All for 16 euros.

One of the first stops our tour made after leaving Amsterdam was Cologne, Germany, which is the 4th largest city in Germany with nearly a million population. This city is the economic and cultural capital of the Rhineland and is most famous for the magnificent Gothic Cathedral (Kolner Dom) whose twin spires stand well over 520 feet tall, is the seat of the Roman Catholic Archbishop of Cologne. The town has thirty museums and many, many art galleries, but we only had a short period to take in the Cathedral and eat lunch before we were back on the bus and gone again. I would like to have spent much more time in the great city.
