Koko's Sushi Green Bay Reviews
Fresh Sushi on the East Side Sep 10, 2008
I have been to Koko's regularly since it opened and I recommend it as the best sushi restaurant in Green Bay.
One of their signature rolls is the Godzilla, which is Super White tuna maki tempura topped with mild spiced crab mixture. Spectacular flavor, though not a hot and spicy roll, but very delicious and is an extra large sized roll.
Contemporary interior design, good wine selection and absolutely the only place I will ever order a mint mojito. The are the very best here.
Prices are about 20% higher than other sushi places but worth it as the fish is always fresh here. Rolls range in price from about $5.95 to $10.95 for the specialty rolls. The nigiri here melts in your mouth and is some of the best I've had other than perhaps Hawaii.
Service is usually prompt. Sitting at the sushi bar is fun and the sushi chefs are very friendly, helpful, and proud to explain their creations. On occasion I get a waitress that is unable to smile or be friendly, but it's an annoyance rather than a detriment.
They used to also be open for lunch but stopped opening midday in October of 2008. Now, only open for dinner.
