Fun club Apr 06, 2011
My friend invited me to come with her to Koko Club for a special party called "Guilty Pleasure" It's supposed to be a costume party but we didn't wore a costume :P

The place is like an old theatre and I remember admiring the glittering ball at the ceiling. It's a pretty cool place for a party :)

It's quite huge and there's so many people with very good costumes which made me wish I wore one as well :P It would have been pretty cool :P

We enjoyed dancing and watching the naughty show. It's funny and fun :) Also enjoyed tossing the big baloon.

This is pretty awesome party and even if you go by yourself or with a friend, you'll sure gain more there :)

Would highly recommend. :)

Oh, and it's not expensive..can't remember exactly but I think just around Gbp10 or 15 if I'm not mistaken for entrance fee.

Koko's FAB place if you fancy a rocking night out in Camden! Jun 25, 2011
For London I would say Koko's is pretty average money wise! but not at all an average night out! It has AMAZING interior, think it used to be an old theatre or music hall so its really different and quite breath taking with a massive dance floor and you can stand in the like the boxes that overlook the stage!

Various nights have different things going on! sometimes they have gigs on or DJ sets that place a good selection of music. They generally play Indie Rock Alt music! whatever XFM is playing or NME plugging thats pretty much what they have on (do a night called Club NME very good!)

Wednesday night they do a student night called propaganda, really good night out usually some famous indie DJ and very cheap drinks for London. Located in Camden it good to try out a few bars on the main stretch of Camden before and then head to Kokos for a good night! its right opposite a tube station so you cant really get lost and the night bus isn't to far even for the drunks!

Really good night if you fancy something a bit different!

Best value night in Camden (in my opinion) Jun 20, 2011
Every Friday night, the Koko Club in Camden (Mornington Crescent) holds Club NME.

This is one of the best nights in Camden.

For about £5 entry, you can see a couple of unsigned bands and stay for the club night afterwards. When most bars close around 1am, this place kicks on till 4am!

The drinks on a Club NME night are reasonably prices, with specials all night. (Unfortunately, its usually tends to be Fosters)

I definitely recommend letting your hair down with the other indie kids.

Great Fun at an Affordable price Jul 05, 2011
This is one of my favourite clubs in London! Everytime I go I have great fun! It used to be an old theatre so as you can imagine it looks quite funky inside. Still has all the layers with seating removed! You can also have a rave out of the majority of the balcony's! Drinks are average and the club is suprisingly spacious!

Indie Club in old Theatre Mar 03, 2011
All london travelers or newbies should check out Koko club in mornington crescent, London, on a Friday night. Only a fiver to get in and they often have a band on aroung midnight. It's open till 4am and has about 5 floors as it used to be a theatre, so the balconies are now seating areas with the huge dancefloor at the bottom. Get on down, i'll see you at the bar.
