Kohler Vacation Guide
Located in Sheboygan County, or about 40 minutes North of Milwaukee, Kohler is a village along the Sheboygan River which was created by the main company in it, the Kohler Company, as a planned community for it's employees and their families.
The Kohler Company was built in 1912 and is still today to be considered the largest plumbing fixture manufacturer in the world. In addition to the factory, the Kohler Company also owns The American Club, five star resort reknowned for the two golf course complexes; Blackwolf Run and the Whistling Straits, both of which are rated as in the top 100 in the US. The most recent tournament was held in 2006 for the Seniors Open.
