Smile House Resort is located in Bophut Beach in the heart of the Fishermans Village. With bungalow style accomadation this hotel is perfect for people travelling in groups, families and even on your own as the bungalows give you the room for the kids and the privacy for when you need that quiet time.
The lush gardens of the resort were stunning are certainly the centre point of the resort with the bungalows surrounding. This was perfect as it made you feel so relaxed surrounded by such beautiful plants. There are also 2 pools at the resort. With a larger more exposed one at the front of the resort, there was a smaller more scluded one at the back. The staff at Smile House are very friendly and helpful. I loved that when cleaning the rooms they don't use vacuum cleaners so it didn't spoil the tranquility the resort had to offer. |

I stayed for one night at Chaweng Buri resort and then moved to Baan Chaweng Resort by making an online reservation. I however think I should have stayed at the Al's Resort. It seemed like a nice place and it was probably one of the more popular places. These are all quite… Koh Samui and Phangan |

At 10:35pm the shore line was lit up by the different resorts and the rain stopped. Fireworks were going off in randomly. One of the best sights were the floating lights in the sky. They resort next to our launched some. They look like small hot air balloons that are tossed in the air and they… New Years Eve |

Now it is overrun by high end resorts that would be more at home in Spain that in Thailand. The culture and tranquility has pretty much been erased. The main strip of road behind the beach is hideous. It is so crammed with bars and fast food (Maccys, BK, Pizza Hut nooooooooo… A disappointment................... |
