Kofte, a must to eat in Turkey Jul 05, 2008
This restaurant make Kofte only back from many years ago. I've tried Kofte from many restaurant in Turkey and I like one from this place the most. It's the way they mix the meat with those herbs and the grill technique.
Your Kofte will be served with soured paprika and bread. However, I would recommend you to order mixed salad as side dish just to kill the salty taste of the meat. If you go there at noon, it's pretty difficult to find table or you might have to share table with others. It's not a place where you spend your time chatting, reading or unwinding with yourself or locals. Just get yourself in, order and indulge with the divine taste of this meatball in your mouth and get out. It's your own private moment of the food and you! You won't be surprise if you see local drop by and finish their dish only in 15 mins and the place will be very busy all the time. However, if you need more quiet quality time just go after 1 or 2 pm. |
