Nowadays, Moscow boasts an impressive number of cafes scattered around the city. There are cafes of all ranges, from budget to splurge. Kofeshenk belongs to the upper middle tier. It may not be the best cafe in the city. But it is reasonably priced and a pleasant place with good service. Although in the similar price range, the coffee-shop chains (or "kafeinya" as the locals call it) like Shokoladnitsa and Kofe-Khauz are no competitors to Kofeshenk in terms of service. The interior of the cafe feels like a typical British pub, with dark-brown wood panels and a classy feel.

As with most cafes in Russia, Kofeshenk is more of a bistro because of the range of food they serve. With a tiny bar counter, Kafeshenk is an all-purpose cafe that offers something for everyone, anytime.
