Zen Temple with a beautiful garden Oct 01, 2008
I visited this temple, because I had read that it had a really beautiful garden. And it was true. The garden was really beautiful.

The temple is located near the Gion area of Kyoto and very close to the Yasaka Pagoda. The temple itself looks really nice, but as mentioned above, the garden is really worth the visit. I walked around the garden for a while, enjoying the various formations of rocks, grass and trees.

An adult entrance tickets costs 600 yen (around 5,50 euros or 7,50 US dollars) which is reasonable, especially if you love (japanese) gardens/nature.
