Kathakali is a traditional dance originating in the state of Kerala known for its dramtic make-up and costumes. The dance tells a story by the numerous moves, or mudras, that the dancers perform. There is a small live band with one singer, but the dancers do not speak. Kathakali is performed during festivals and other special occasions beginning in the evening and continuing until dawn.
Thankfully, there are many shortened versions for tourists.

In 2000 I started to travel around the EurAzian continent. Not in one vacation ofcourse, there is work waiting for me at home, but in leg of 6 weeks. Every journey is about 3000 km long.

I went to India to study social work and lived with my teacher and 13 other students from Sweden in Trichy. It was great and I leard so much about the cultre, religion and the country. After a month of study I traveld 2,5 week in Banglaore, Hampi, Palolem (south Goa) Kochin Trivandrum and ended my trip in Chennai. I meet really nice pepole and I sooooo want to go back. It was intresting to explore "real India" and "tourist india"
