 Tasty Japanized 'Western' food Nov 23, 2008
This restaurant specializes in 'doria,' tasty rice dishes with 'Western' origins (maybe risotto???). It involves a piping hot bowl of rice with veggies, chicken, fish, or meat in a sauce and baked like a casserole. I had one with onions and a creamy sauce and my husband had one with eggplant, tomatoes and a beef sauce. Both were very deliscious, filling and comforting. Prices are about 800-1000 Yen. The staff speaks very little English (and my Japanese is... not so hot), but they are very helpful and they also have an English menu. I will definitely be eating there again!
