Koala Park West Pennant Hills Reviews
Koala Park, West Pennant Hills Apr 25, 2008
My good friend Gina took us to what she says as the best zoo in New south Wales. Just an hour away from Sydney city proper, The Koala Park stars Koalas that you can cuddle, feed, pat, and have your photo taken with. They are on show everyday at designated hours. What makes your visit here more exciting is that you'd even see roaming koalas everywhere. The zoo also has about 10 acres of rainforest and eucalyptus groves.
While names Koala Park, the zoo also features other animals native to australia such as Kangaroos (that you can actually feed), Wombats, Cockatoos, Kookuburra, Emus and a lot more. There's also a sheep shearing show every 2:30 in the afternoon.
The Koala Park was the first private koala sanctuary in NSW. A visit here would give you a feeling that you are doing a part in the preservation of the koala which is the main theme of the park.
It is also worth mentioning here that volunteer guides in the zoo are sooooo friendly and funny that will make your stay in the zoo worth remembering.
