Knott's Soak City is pretty fun, but there's not all that much to do. Honestly, it's more of just a chill place with friends. Then again, if you're in a place like Palm Springs, I don't know what else you're going to do except attempt to chill in the hot weather [but that's aside from the point...]

There are plenty of crazy water slides, wave pools, and some playgrounds gone wrong (I mean this in a good way...hehe...). Soaking your friend with water as he comes up the steps expecting victory of the 10 meter fort is a beautiful way to foil his (or her) plans. Going tandem down a large water slide is pretty crazy, but going single through a bunch of twists and turns is just as fun.

A cool place, but if you have high expectations and no friends, stay away.
