Knokke-Heist Travel and Tourism Guide

Knokke-Heist is a Belgian city near the North Sea. It is known for its wealthy inhabitants. The city has the highest real estate prices in Belgium.

Although it's located in the Flemish part of Belgium, there are a lot of french speaking people. They often speak French because they believe it shows they are upperclass.

There is a casino, which will be renovated soon, and a lot of shops. On the Lippenslaan, you can find the basic shops you find everywhere. If you go more towards Knokke het Zoute, you will arrive in the upperclass neighbourhood and will find Gucci, Versace, Dior and so on.

If you like nice, expensive cars...you will see a lot of them in Knokke. It's kind of like the Monte Carlo of Belgium :).
