"Het Klooster", or translated "The cloister", is one of the most authentic hotels in Leuven, located in the hart of the city. It is housed in an old abbey building, and offers 4 different types of rooms, all beautifully decorated. There are facilities for business meetings as well.
Rooms go from 205 to 330 euros per person, or 235 to 260 for double rooms. Absolutely not the price I'm willing to pay for a hotel room, yet this place is absolutely charming. Breakfast buffet is said to be remarkably tasty (I've heard that of a friend of mine, who stayed in this hotel many times). So anyone looking for something a bit luxury and fancy, in an authentic and quiet setting yet in the center of Leuven, must choose this place!
