Kirey Hotel Travel Reviews

Aug 01, 2007
Kirey Hotel is situated just off the main road in Lhasa, Tibet. At 65 yuan a night (approximately 4 GBP) it is really quite cheap for a Hotel. However, the facilities are more that of Hostel grade and the shared toilets are typically Tibetan (whole in the floor surrounded by flies). The shared showers are average but do the job and are open from 8.30 in the morning unitl 10 in the evening. There is a FREE daily laundry pick up from outside your room, providing you put your laundry out by 9.0 am, and these will be returned to you the next day. Situated within the grounds of the hotel are Shangri La and Teshi 2 both with friendly staff and serving reasonably priced good food.
