The Kipepeo Beach is indeed on the beach about 10 south east of the metropolis of Dar es Salaam. From Dar you have to take the ferry to Kigamboni and from there you drive 9 km along the coast. Not the easiest way to get to your bed, but it is definitely worth it.
At the campsite you can put up your tent right on the beach and near very clean shared showers and toilets. But why not choose for an affordable upgrade and rent a beautiful lodge. The lodges all have a front to the Indean ocean and a nice balcony with hammock. Shower and toilet are downstairs, the giant bed is upstairs and has a view to the palmtrees.
A recommended romantic stay!

We join the chaos and have to pass it to get at the other side of this metropolis. About 10 kms south east this lively city we arrivie at Kipepeo beach (see review). Time to relax and enjoy the warm water of the Indian Ocean and the cold cocktails at the beach bar. Cheers! … Palmbomen en witte stranden!
