King's Joy International hostel
King's Joy International hostel Reviews
Great location Aug 17, 2007
I didn't have time to see Beijing's hostels.
I was looking for a cheap ones and found one but changed to this one.. My roommate in Shiagn hai helped me out booking this place. Because I don't speak Chinese.. In the summer, Many hostels are full and really hard to find a place. This hostel is pretty big and the location is really great!! It's located near Tian An Men. About 10-15 minutes walk from the hostel. Nearest station is Qianmen. The one runs in a circle. The dorm room is usually between 50 - 70 RMB but this time was on season or whatever the reason so I had to pay 100 RMB but I had no choice because everywhere else is full. I got a HUGE 4 bed drom room all by myself for a night. Though at middle of the night, one guy came in... They have a TV, tea set, shower and toilet each room, a big locker. I think there was no key so you should bring one... They have a restaurant on the ground floor. And of course tour desk. Internet wasn't so expensive. They had 6 or 8 PCs. On the top of the floor, they have a bar/restaurant. Looked pretty cool. This hostel is very big. Has 6 floor and the total bed is almost 400!!! If you just staying in Beijing for one day like I did, this place is the perfect place!! Close to the metro station and even to Tian An men!! By the way, this hostel is easy to find because the wall is gray and the windows are red! Part of the Shanghai / Beijing travel blog
