King´s Ice Cream
King´s Ice Cream Reviews
An interesting ice cream sandwich Jul 29, 2012
King´s Ice Cream is a little cart located at the end of Read Bridge on Clarks Quay. I don´t know if he moves around or if he is always in the same location. I have seen him several times at the same place.
This is an old man selling wonderful ice cream in 12 different flavours. He has big blocks of ice cream in his ice chest, which he cuts in slices. It´s quite scary to see how he handles the knife, but believe me, he has full control. You can choose to have your ice cream in a cup, in a biscuits or in a pink and green slice of bread like a real ice cream sandwich.
I tried the macadamia ice cream in the pink and green bread. The ice cream was great, but I´ll pass on the bread next time. The whole delicious affair will set you back SGD 1. A bargain if you ask me!
