Unless you LOVE the sound of Railroad horns at all hours this isn't your best hotel. May 14, 2008
Our choice in Flagstaff didn’t turn out to be one of our better choices on this trip. This older two-story facility with outdoor corridors was located directly across the street from the main railroad route across our great land. And due to several street crossing close by and the law that says each train has to blow their horns as they neared each intersection it was the least quiet location for a motel. Very strange, because this street is also the best known road across the nation and there are more motels along this strip than you can count. It was cheap, it was fairly clean, and it had a Vacancy sign outside. Our room had a few of the normal amenities and they even had an expanded continental breakfast in the morning.
