As a tourist in the Netherlands you should visit Kinderdijk. 19 windmills are standing in the landscape and two windmills (Blokweer and Nederwaard) are open to visit. A ticket gives acces to the two windmills as well as the visitorscenter Wisboomgemaal. The windmills of Kinderdijk are a Unesco World Heritage site.
During the second complete week of September, they`re lighted by night, they call it “Mills in Floodlight” it gives you an unforgettable impression!
