Village in the heart of the Rockies Aug 17, 2014
Kimberley is a small village just 3 hours South of Banff and 4 hours South West of Calgary.
Known for it's ski fields and golf courses.
The pedestrian only Main Street was very busy in the weekend with the local eateries all packed.
The village has a nice feel to it and business seems to be thriving
There are plenty of walks and bike tracks nearby, and the Mark Creek runs through the centre.
Everyone here seems to be making the most of summer and getting their exercise in.
Wildlife is abundant and you are very likely to see dear on the side of the road and even in the backyards of houses.
This is not a very big town and if you wanted to do shopping for a week then you would be more than likely to drive the 35km to Cranbrook
