Kim Lian Kee Restaurant Kuala Lumpur Reviews
Kim Lian Kee Restaurant Mar 05, 2016
Kim Lian Kee has several branches around KL city area but have recently opened at The Gardens Midvalley. I dined here at The Gardens and it's a very small cafe fitting only a few tables.
Their specialty is Hokkien Mee (Fujian Noodle). It's my favourite (among many others!) noodle, also because I'm bias (I'm Hokkien!) ... Yes, it was really good, but the other dishes that we ordered were not tastety.
If you like to try some typical local Chinese street food yet sceptical about the hygiene, you can consider this place. It tastes exactly like those you'd get at hawker stalls but served in cleaner and more comfortable environment. For this reason, price will obviously be higher.
One reason their noodle is more delicious than those you'd get at foodcourts in shopping malls is because foodcourts serve halal food while this one is cooked with pork which gives the authentic flavour.
