Maui is a fantastic island getaway.

Kihei is a town on the west side (the dry side) of Maui just north of Wailea. Unlike Wailea and Kaanapali/Kapalua to the north, Kihei is not a cluster of world class hotels. There are lots of condos in Kihei, great public beaches and lots of local flair.
