Kies Teas Lyndoch Reviews
Wine, tea and tasty food @ Kies Feb 04, 2011
Besides of its great location, this place offers more than wine.
This is a family business, which opened about 30 years ago. They follow European traditions. The complex includes a cellar, tea center / restaurant/ and a function area, which makes it complete for all visitors.
We had lunch here and the food was very tasty. They use their own products and products of the region. Therefore the best choice was to choose the "Barossa Grazing Plate" which was a platter to share. It was big enough for 3 people and was just delicious! Loved the freshness of the local ingredients. The atmosphere of this cafe is very nice too. Tables are beautiful and it's a bit elegant, without being pretentious at all.
They have a cellar too, where you can taste the wine they produce. It's small and cozy.
Also they have a tea shop, where you can find different accessories for tea, such a cute tea pots and china.
But I can't forget mentioning the staff who are the highlight of the place, making you feel welcome all the time. Definitely I will stop by here next time I'm in the area and the visitors of the valley should do so too.
