Kibbutz Mizra

Established in 1923 Kibbutz Mizra pre-dates its own country. It is a beautiful heaven with no car access, only cycle paths, grass, trees and homes.

A great Museum of the old Kibbutz life is located right in the very site of the first settlement. there is also a hotel and country lodge as well as a swimming pool. how ever dont be mistaken to think that all the real kibbutz stuff is gone. There is still a lot of fields around growing cotton, sweet corn and sunflowers depending on the time of year and also still the old cow sheds where milking still takes place in the early hours of the morning. the communal dinning room is now the modern centre and is surrounded by massive lush grassy lawns.

I give it a ten, the whole kibbutz life was wonderfully experienced. :)
