What a nice trip, having it just be me and Kim and our mothers made for a lower key beach trip than we have had in a while. I really enjoyed spending more time with Kimmie and mulling over our life plans. Of course I over dosed on boiled peanuts and shrimp, but that is what you are supposed to do in S.Carolina! Seeking out good lighting for photos became a focus of the trip and as a result, I have some of my favorite pictures ever taken of Kim and my mom.

Best form of "free" entertainment on vacation would be going to the beach. We do this every year on Kiawah Island, South Carolina. This fun in the sun spot offers fishing, snorkeling, shelling, crabbing, bacci ball, frisbee, etc. Occasionally there will be sand sculptors on the beach. This looks interesting. I will have to nab some pictures of these next time I go.
Cheers!

Ok, last but not least on the trip we visited a dirt road off of the highway out of Kiawah Island. The place is Angel Oak and just check it out. Amazing. It is said to be about 1500 years old.
