This was recommended in the Lonely Planet and it honestly didn’t live up to their recommendation, as so many of their hotels don’t since they now live off the LP advertising and no longer have to make any effort with guests. The exterior was very pretty, and a short walk from town, but the room was like a cell, literally. The bed was like iron, there was a small window, a plastic chair, waxy green floor and greasy white walls. I agreed because the other hotels in the area were out of my price range and I couldn’t walk with my heavy backpack into town. The showers were shared affairs virtually IN the reception which was kind of embarrassing when trying to sneak back to the room in a towel. They did have hot water however. I wouldn’t stay here again, for $6/night it was awful.
