Tibetan food Jun 15, 2011
On the corner of the Rue Rambuteau and Rue Quincampoix, close to the Centre Pompidou, is the little restaurant 'Khatag'. The fact that it proclaimed to serve 'Tibetan Specialities' triggered my interest. I hadn't tried Tibetan food yet, so I thought why not?

Prices seemed quite fair, so I went inside and got a table near the door. I ordered the 'Long Cha' with rice, which turned out to be a nice dish of lamb, onion, carrots, celery and other vegetables in a light paprika sauce. It wasn't really spicy, but it tasted very nice.

I wasn't really sure what I had expected, but this first experience with Tibetan food definately made me curious to try more. So next time I'll come back.
