Most of traveller will know only Samui Beach in Surathani Province. Khao Sok is located in Ratchaprapa Dam. I think it's similar to Kuilin, China. Spend about 3-4 hrs to explore Stone Mountain and Dam. It's fabolus to stay in Bamboo hut over the dam..We can enjoy nature alarm clock from the bird, it's so nice to have canue our the Dam!! Don't miss to visit here!! Khao Sok!!

We arrived in Kao Sok as the two tiredest people in the world after a recent burst of constant travelling involving two overnight ferries, where the sleeping deck is a row of mattresses and the lights NEVER GET TURNED OFF!! So we found ourselves with an offer of a chaep bungalow which we took and then proceeded to be attacked by animals for the next twelve hours. It all started when... i've finally managed to escape the oh-so-fascinating world of hedge fund finance, and am now decadently indulging my long-suppressed wanderlust with 15 months on the road and around the world... *note: apart from the odd review (generally of something not found in your standard guide book), this is really more just a map of my travels than a proper blog, but if you want more information on anywhere i`ve been or what i`ve been up to, send me a message and i`ll see if i can rustle something up.

Makes are stay so much more compfortable. Anyway, tubing... The river was pretty tame but it felt real nice just to float down with no troubles (apart from the branch I got wacked in the ...

Khao Sok - Where we finally cracked. A combination of heat, mosquitos and NO SLEEP FOR 14 days! We hired ourselves a 200 BHT bungalow....BIG MISTAKE. It was 38 degrees, the fan was broken, there were no windows, it was infested with ants, spiders, and rats...and in the middle of the night a tiger tried to break in, (when it realised this was not going to happen, proceeded to sharpen its talens on the side of our flimsy bamboo hut.) The next day a monkey (with the rage) catapulted out of a nea...
