Key West is the ultimate in southern tourist spots. Not only is it the most southern point in the United States, but because of the climate it is about the fairest place to sunbath and relax all year long. Of course it is also a very busy tourist destination so finding a place to park a car isn’t easy on this small 2 mile by 4 mile island. There are many, many places to stay and as many places to eat and drink. Scuba diving is popular as is fishing, and even just chartering a boat for a cruise is fun. Just be aware of the storm season. Hurricanes can ruin a vacation.
