Have you ever looked at an amazing picture of the Seattle skyline and wondered where that picture was taken? Well there’s a good chance it was taken from Kerry Park in Seattle’s Queen Anne neighborhood. This park provides excellent views of Seattle from the Space Needle to Elliot Bay and beyond. On a nice day the park is full of amateur (and some professional) shutter bugs snapping their own versions of this often photographed vista. It’s also a great place to relax on a bench and watch the ferries, ocean liners, and cruise ships go by.
To get to Kerry Park take the 2 or the 13 (bus) from downtown and get off at the Highland Drive/Queen Anne Ave N stop. Walk a couple of blocks west and you can’t miss it! |
