Kents Cavern Reviews

Britains oldest home Apr 29, 2008
Kents Cavern was voted Best attraction in the south west 2008.So if thats not reason enough to go here then i dont know what is.
Kents Cavern is also known as britains oldest home as there is evidence of people living there from 450,000 years ago.Kents cavern boast some pretty impressive prehistoric finds like flint had axes that date back 450,000 years ago and a human jaw bone which is the oldest one found in britain which dates back 40,000 years ago.
The tours that you can go on through kents cavern are superb and credit must go to the enthusiastic tour guides who really do try their best to make it interesting to even the most sceptical of people.
In the summer they also do ghost shows and then in the christmas period they do an impressive santas grotto!
