Kent Vacation Guide

Kent is very spread out, encompassing areas on the west hill near the I-5 freeway, the valley area near hwy-167 and the east hill of kent. The valley is largely covered with warehouses and big business and the hills are more residential generally.
Kent is close to I-5, 167, hwy-405, hwy18 etc.

It borders renton and Tukwila so you are very close to the very large SouthCenter shopping area as well as stores like Ikea just down the hill from the hospital on the renton/kent border area.

Close to the Emerald Downs Racetrack(horses) in Auburn and within about 1/2 hour of the Snoqualmie valley or Tacoma areas. approx 45 min- 1 hour drive to Seattle(traffic?).

Kent is building a large entertainment center where i believe they will start playing either semi-professional soccer or hockey?
this is located by the smaller downtown mall and theatres and the light rail train station.

Each year kent has a neat little food and fun event for a couple days downtown.
