Kennesaw Vacation Guide
Kennesaw is located in Cobb County and is a northwestern suburb of Atlanta. It was selected as one of the 10 Best Towns for Families and is also the home of Kennesaw State University. It is a major retail hub and has a large mall and long street of retail stores and restaurants called Barrett Parkway. The area is also easily accessed via Interstate 75 to the city of Atlanta.
During the Civil War, much fighting took place in and around Kennesaw and there are several national parks and battlefields that you can visit. The largest of these is Kennesaw Mountain. The Southern Museum of Civil War and Locomotive History is located downtown and contains the famous train called The General.

Hi there everyone! I'm just finishing up all my packing and getting ready to leave. Wow, I can't believe it's already here. I'll be leaving this Saturday and returning to Atlanta on July 7th. I will miss all of you, but I hope you have wonderful summers :)
