Kennedy Irish Sailing Club
Kennedy Irish Sailing Club Barcelona Reviews
Great live music; eclectic group of people and party central Mar 03, 2011
Found this place many years ago before Barcelona was quite so expensive.
Its a great place to meet all nationalities and start a late night out with fab live bands. Especially lively at weekends and all through the week in high season.
During the main summer months there is more seating outside whilst if its a chilly spring or autumn night, the doors remain in place!
Not the cheapest of places but then youcan't expect to find lively places in Barcelona without paying for it too.
Surrounded by lots of other bars/clubs on same strip for when the live bands have finished and you want a few hours of dancing. Lots of locals arrive later in the night for this reason but as per above you won't see them downing drink after drink as the savvy local Catalans would have topped up their alcohol levels before heading out or in one of teh cheaper on route tapas bars!
Not a place to spend every night but definitely a great place to spend a Friday or Saturday evening.
PS As it labels itself an Irish Bar (as per about 20 other places in the City!), it also covers all the UK and Irish sports
