So, I have been in Kelowna since I left Yellowknife on the 14th of December. It was pretty scary quitting my job and leaving the town I know and love so much, but it is changing. Just a stopover for a couple of nights, while I work eastwards towards Grizzly Bear Ranch. Trip from Merrit was not nice - had to go over a pass at 1700m - above the snow line. My car doesn't have winter-tyres or snow-chains, so it was not a nice drive.
