Kelly's - a KC Tradition! Jun 19, 2008

Kelly's and the adjoining Store are considered to be the oldest buildings still standing in Kansas City. It amazed me the fact, that the oldest building of the city was a pub! lol!

Besides the unique local, the environment is really cool and laid back. It's a great place to hang out with your friends and enjoy the KC's way of having fun. They have been serving for more than 60 years and still have some traditions like the squirrel table - for the ladies playing poker.

The place is open daily and I think is the best one to start drinking with your friends before going party. The staff is really friendly and makes you feel at home!

Nice review! It's weird that the oldest remaining building in Kansas City was built in 1849; not quite as old as the Egyptian pyramids :-D
