Great location but you really paid for it! Apr 09, 2015
This hotel has an unbeatable location. We picked this hotel because the airport limousine bus would pick up and drop off right at the hotel, the tours also would pick up from this hotel; and it was only a 5 minutes walk to the Shinjuku station from it's West Exit. Along the road from the hotel to the station, there are lots of restaurants, cafes and shops. There is a huge electrical store around that area where we got our camera!

This hotel is huge. We have never been in a line just to wait for the check in. There are at least 6 check in counters but there were all full. There was actually a staff standing in front of the line to tell us which counter is available for check in! The staff was helpful and speak good English. You can also buy the airport limousine tickets at their vending machine.

There are two parts of the hotel. The South wing and the main building. We stayed at both side. Although the south wing' s room are bigger but is old. On the other hand, rooms in the main building is modern and new but a little smaller in size. We preferred the room in main building.

All rooms are clean and the bath room were in a good size with enough amenities. I personally like the way they would provide little hair bands.

We love the complimentary high speed wifi in the room. However it won't work at the lobby!

The negative part about this hotel is the rate was a little steep. We were paying USD350 per night. Perhaps this is what you will have to pay if you are staying in the heart of Tokyo!

Our room rate doesn't include a breakfast ( we think is ridiculous - with that price we paid, we didn't even get breakfast! ) so I am not able to comment if the breakfast is good.

Well If your going to spoil yourself as I did, This is one place you should stay at... I felt like a king and I only booked a Deluxe room.. But I must say you will pay through the nose for what they charge, but you cant complain with the amount of space and comfort you get compared to smaller cheaper hotels.

Location Only Feb 01, 2009
This is a good hotel for location only.

The rooms are severly dated even after "extensive renovations" - and this was on the Executive Floor!

Service is average and nothing more. The age of the hotel and the condition mean that they do not attract the best staff. Largely the hotel is popular with tourist groups as it is a stop on the Airport Bus route and conveniently located - this translates to a lot of noise and large groups in the lobby at virtually all times.

Recommended hotels in Tokyo would be: The Ritz Carlton or the Westin Ebisu.

For a more traditional option at about half the cost would be the Imperial Hotel (small, dark rooms but exceptional service!)

Would go back tomorrow Apr 11, 2008
A huge hotel in a great location. If I went to Tokyo again I would definately stay there. Right next to the tube and only a short walk to the train station, you can walk via an underground passage too if it's raining.

Lots of shops and restaurants nearby. You can get meals for about £5 - £10 in the local restaurants but the hotel meals are £50 so it is expensive! Just make sure you eat out and you'll be ok.

Rooms are lovely, beds comfy and really clean. So much stuff in room, they provided hair bobbles, razors, toothbrush, toothpaste, cotton wool, ear buds, slippers, dressing gown, safe etc.

We were on the 26th floor in the south tower and the views over Toyko were amazing. Huge window so you can lay in bed and look out.

Hotel has shops inside, including small supermarket which sells lots of good food, bento box meals, salads and snacks etc which are all really cheap.

Staff helpful and always happy. So huge, almost got lost in the lobby. I can't recommend this hotel enough, just loved it!
