Kedai H. Asari - my starving friend/neighbour (we live near this kedai/restaurant) so high probability for another lunch or dinner here :p
Kedai H. Asari - I really like the Pecak Gurame. And while you in Indonesia you need to try Pete :p. I like Cah Kangkung, Tempe and Calamary, and they made it on my standard.
Kedai H. Asari - your sitting choice: chair, cushion or outdoor
Kedai H. Asari - also good facility: bathroom, parking space

It's probably Saturday or Sunday evening, and you have been spent your noon at Setu Babakan Cultural Village, happy but starving, and would like to have dinner on near by good place, then Kedai H. Asari is a good choice.

They have wide range of Indonesian menu but if you think it is to early to have dinner, you only want to sit and talk, they have variety of finger food like french fries, lumpia kepiting (crab spring rolls), or risoles. Or simply order Juice.

But We starve, I passed my lunch, so we order:

Cumi Goreng Tepung, IDR 20.000 (Calamari) for appetizer

Rice, 2 portions @ IDR 3.500

Pecak Gurame Besar, IDR 60.000 (Fried Gurame Fish with Turmeric seasoning)

Cah Kangkung Baso Udang, IDR 10.000 (Water Spinach with Shrimp Meatballs)

Pete Goreng, IDR 6.000 (Fried Pete)

Tempe Goreng, IDR 5.000 (Fried Tempe)

and Hot Tea, IDR 1.000 to drink

I am Indonesian but Pete (and Jengkol) is not my fave food, I seldom eat it, because it is left bad smell in my mouth and gass in my stomach. But I recommend you to taste it while you in Indonesia, you might be like it. Wonder whether I could find Pete and Jengkol in other country..

I really really like their Pecak Gurame, The meat fresh and the turmeric season really good. So yummy!

also the other food, I like.

I like their place. I enjoy my time here. I saw families and couples enjoy their time here. You could choose to sit outdoor while smoking and have a cup of coffee. Or prefer relax on cushion and lower table. Or chair and table for comfort dining. Your Choice!

Never heard of Setu Babakan before? Here the info:

Not sure about accomodation. But easiest way to get to the cultural village is by Commuter Line Train (KRL), stop at Stasiun Universitas Pancasila, then by Ojeg (motorbike taxi) to the village (3km).

Great info man! Anyway i have a few questions. Are there any accommodations near the cultural village? If there aren't any, what's the easiest way to get to it say from central jakarta. Seems like an interesting place. Thanks man :)
