Kebun Sayur - gems center in Balikpapan

Kebun Sayur - literally means: vegetables garden... so I don'tt know why they named it for a traditional market completed with souvenirs stores.

The souvenirs from Balikpapan is mainly the semi valuable gems: cat's eye, opaque, zamrud, diamond (sometimes), ruby, moonstone, etc.

This place also known as the fruit center and in the morning they open a wet-market.

There are traditional dresses and clothes as well as jewellery from stones. As for us, the girl.. only thing interesting would be the jewelerries sections:).
