Stopped off at Waipoua Kauri forest to see the absolutely massive kuari trees. Had a wonder through the forest and there are groups of these huge native trees and they really are a sight to see! Some of them are about 60 metres high with a 5 metre diameter! lovely forest, with the road winding through it. stopped off at the Kauri campsite, very nice too, and watched the hugely hyped up LA Galaxy game against Wellington. Crikey these New Zealanders are besotted with Beckham!
