After I fixed my business in the morning just called my friends and arranged a meeting. A few hours planned meeting turned into whole evening meeting. We had great time talking and remembering old good traveling and partying times, visited a couple of bars and finished evening in live music concert…

Today was a rather lazy day.  I had a bus ticket to Warsaw which was to leave at about 11 or 11:30PM.  I got a lot of rest, and went online to update friends and family that I was still around.  I bid my farewells to Ieva and was off to Poland.

I've been to Lithuania a number of times, but for this blog I'll talk about when I was there from December 27, 2006 until January 10, 2007. Then again from December 30, 2007 until January 02, 2008. That makes two New Year's Eves in two consecutive years. :D

A leisure trip to the nations on the Baltic sea: Estonia, Latvia, and Lithuania with a focus on religious history.

I originally wanted to visit Lithuania because my ancestors came from there to Scotland in the early 1900s. It is such a beautiful place, full of lakes, trees,lots of countryside, stunning architecture and very clean streets. Best of all,it's still relatively untouched by tourism. I have been twice now. I was based in Kaunas and made a quick visit for a day to Vilnius too.
