YES, This was paradise. It is a quiet island but there is so much to do. I highly reccommend doing the tubing trip with Backyard Adventures. Poi Pu Kai is such a quaint little town with huge hospitality. Shipewreck Beach was awesome and the Kauai Spirits sunset cruise was incredible and absolutely breath taking. The memories will be inside me forever. I hope one day you will be able to check out the Island.

Well I forgot all about my blogging here which is why I liked this site in the first place. So over a month later I'm going to try my best to remember my trip. My memory only covers bits and pieces most of the time, hence the reason I wanted the journal. I'll try to piece together what I can…

Went to Kauai w/ a couple of friends for Memorial Day weekend in May. Saw some waterfalls, lonely stretches of beach and the Na Pali Coast. I love how Hawaii has so much to offer!

Friendship left to be desired, the nautral, raw beauty of the island of Kauai is amazing. If I were to ever return, I would have to stop there for at least 2 days! It is an island of beauty, not one of industry, and is definitely worth the plane ride. You lucky people who have first class!!! The Na Pali Coast must be visited, preferable on a catamaran, and you have to sit at the front of it of course!!! Make sure to go with the right people and explore the island!

The Fern Grotto, accessible only by a short boat trip up the Wailua River, is one of Kaua`i's signature attractions. Here you will enter a cave cloaked with ferns and cooled by the mists of a waterfall. There was a time when the Grotto was off-limits to all but Hawaiian royalty. But for more th…
