Kate's Berry Farm Travel Reviews

May 13, 1998
A true Tasmanian treasure. Kate’s Berry Farm should not be passed by; just south of Swansea on the east coast you can buy scrumptious creamy ice cream, juicy jams, and mouth-watering wine and of course fresh berries, all home made by Kate using the berries grown on the farm. You can sit outside overlooking the rows of berries and across Great Oyster Bay to The Hazards Range. Kate who also works the gardens designed both the cellar door shop and workshop, and produces Strawberry dry table wine and a Strawberry Riesling blend. This was one of my favourite food stops in Tasmania for the produce, the fantastic view and relaxing atmosphere with the dogs running around outside hoping for you to drop your ice cream so they could clean up after you.
