Kas ( pronounced Cash) is a small fishing, yachting, diving and tourist town in the district of Antalya in Turkey. Kas is located on a hill right by the sea and there are many guesthouses and hotels located here with tourism being the main source of income though agriculture is also very important. It is one of the leading spots for diving in Turkey with good marine diversity and wrecks beneath the surface.
The town itself was founded by the Lycians .It was a member of the Lycian League, and it was of great importance during that time , confirmed by one of the richest Lycian necropolis there. Nearby are ruins of several antique cities.
