Karcma Po Zboju - My father chose not to have desert and now he regrets it!
Hahaha, the cheesecake is mine :P
Karcma Po Zboju - Having nice Polish soup. It tasted so good after a whole day of walking, especially because it was getting cold outside that evening.
Karcma Po Zboju - Another delicious cheesecake :)
I'm sooo in love with cheesecake, and Poland is paradise to eat those!

a very cozy place with great food and friendly service Jul 20, 2008
Karcma Po Zboju is a very nice restaurant in the heart of Zakopane, at the main street. The house itself is already very nice, all made of wood. There is a small terrace outside to have a snack or drink, but the interior is much worth a visit too.

Also inside, everything is made of wood. Tables are long and most of them have benches instead of chairs. There is a fireplace and in the evenings musicians play nice music now and then.

Staff is very friendly, all dressed in traditional Polish clothing, and very helpful. Not all of them speak English very well, but the menu is translated so that isn't really a problem. There is a great choice of dishes, and many of them are traditional Polish cuisine. Prices are rather cheap.

This really is a nice place to spend the evening. We could have stayed here for hours, enjoying the good food and drinks. Perfect service in a perfect location. I highly recommend this place!
