Yangshou, China -› Litang, China -› …
Flew into Shenzhen in the South and made my way through to the South West, the West and then all the way to the North West desert, which was the most incredible part of my journey (flew all the way back to Hong Kong). Did not expect to meet people from such a mix of different cultures. It was inspiring. A place, which i will go and see again hopefully along the silk road.

It's one of those names. I just had to travel along it towards the Pakistan border...and the Kyrgystan one, come to that. I wasn't going quite that far though - just to the lake at Karakul, which is stunning, with its snowy mountain backdrop and its community of yurt dwelling Kyrgyz people.
